Brief

Meadowbank Primary School is a special educational needs school in Cardiff that supports a range of complex learning needs and language development and their kitchen was in need of refurb. 

 

Result

Tailormade were selected to upgrade their previously tired kitchen, in order to cope with the schools expansion and to streamline the cooking process. A Falcon induction cooktop and an MKN combi oven form a simple but effective cookline that helps serve up healthy and nutritious food for the pupils. This combined with Williams refrigeration and Hobart warewashing gives the catering team exceptional reliability and longevity.

 

The centre island provides a large prep area which is supplemented with an Electrolux vegetable slice and Robocoup Blixer for added efficiency. The Versicarte servery counter is an ideal unit to keep food heated through the service period.

 

A shiny new extract canopy including tempered supply air also creates a fantastic working environment for the kitchen staff.
